Watermelon Sherbet Lips

It's been a good minute since I actually got dolled up to go anywhere, and when I finally got the chance I decided on this look.

I guess we can all figure out that my favorite thing to do is a neutral eye and add a pop of color to my lips. This by far is the brightest I have ever done. I'm usually the type to stick to all tones of red and dark berry colors and finally decided to step out of my own bubble.

It took me a little getting used to because I think I am the only girl who doesn't like the color pink, but for this color I had to make an exception. 

I didn't have the chance to take a good detailed photo and this was the best I could do so please bare with me.

I’m just going to go ahead and say it. I am getting sick and tired of people and their Woe is me kick lately. Some of us have it worse than other’s and I have come to realization that the people who complain the most are the one’s that have it all. How can you have everything you ever need and more and just sulk about life?

Yeah, we all have our moments when we just don’t have a care in the world and then everything starts tumbling down like a ton of bricks on us. But what do we do? We try and move on. I don’t allow petty stuff to bother me because I have bigger things to worry about and need to handle.

Like I always say we can’t complain over things we have no control over. Life hands us many situations where we have to figure out ourselves what to do. Sometimes it may be difficult and other times it may be a breeze. You can choose what you want it to be.

If you allow people in your life who are filled with hate and negativity than sorry to tell you but you too will feel that way soon enough. Surround yourself with people who are positive, I’m not saying hang out with people who are constantly jumping up and down with joy but surround yourself with people who want to have a meaning to their life.

People who complain when you are doing them a favor need a swift kick to the head. How are you going to get mad at me when I am on my time helping you out? If you can’t depend on other’s to help you then stop asking them for help. Only you can trust yourself and not depend on others when you want something done. I know that’s what I say and do myself all the damn time.

It took me a long time but I finally feel comfortable letting people who have no meaning to me be dismissed. I’m not with that oh you did me wrong my friend but I forgive you. GTFOH with that, once the damage is done, you are too! 

My Make-Up for the Day.

The other day I had a chance to go into MAC and contribute to their recycle program by bringing in 6 of my empty containers. I had no idea what to get and asked for some suggestions. I was entitled to a lipstick, eyeshadow or a lip gloss. I am currently on a no buy stint so it had to be good.


 My friend Marie also known as ReeRee_Mua was kind enough to suggest I try out Rebel lipstick and I fell in love instantly. It's a beautiful satin dark maroon. I love finishing a simple neutral eye with a bold lip color and this color  is just perfect and right up my alley.

Have you ever.........

Felt like something is holding you back from accomplishing a goal that you are determined to reach? I am passionate about a lot of things, and I also don’t mind trying new things once and sometimes it only takes one time to realize what might be right for me.

 Lately a lot has been sitting heavy in my heart on what I want to continue doing but the lack of ignorance and jealousy and dislike is what holds me back. The constant why do you want to do that for? You really think that’s for you? Just really think about it before you put your all into it. I don’t know about you but aren’t we supposed to go in hard in any situation to see what the outcome of it will be? I’ve always been a dedicated person when it comes to doing what I love and what makes me happy but that feeling hasn’t even come close to me recently, it just sits there waiting to see if it should react or not.

I don’t take what people say to me for granted but the fact that it comes from someone who I always admired as an inspiring individual is beginning to take its toll on not just me but everything.

I do the best I can to support anyone in my life that is passionate about anything they are doing whether it is an acting job to writing a book to getting a good grade in school. I’m always there to lend a helping hand even if sometimes you have to explain to me what to do first and I will do my best to be there for you and I have a few close people that can vouch for me on that.

I don’t like having the attitude of ill prove them wrong because like I said I can’t control what the outcome will be, but how do you ignore the constant negativity? Besides the obvious of telling them to STFU what can I do without lashing out and giving them what they want?

I’ve always been a private person when it comes to dealing with issues like this but I felt like maybe there is someone out there that can share something with me from a previous experience or something similar.

Has anyone ever felt like this and actually proved a lot of people wrong? If so how did the people react and how did you react when you accomplished what you were striving for?

My Nails of the Week.

So since I am on a blog roll I decided to post my nails for the week. I had some time on my hands today and went for it design and all. It's nothing too special but just felt like sharing. I hope you all enjoy.

• O.P.I- Jade is the new black
• Essie- Chinchilly
• Seche Vite - Fast drying top coat

Left hand: I decided on two little flowers with green rhinestones in the middle

Right Hand: I went with a simple flower with black stems

I thought this was fairly simple compared to other stuff that I have seen out there. Not too much and not too little. I hope you all enjoyed.
